A dry leaf

a-dry-leaf

There is a tree
I watch when free

All leaves green except one
it’s still there I am stun

On him the Greens laugh
At times tearing him to the half

Oh! You dry
why don’t you fly

Go away so far
Why make our home feel shy

Without uttering single word
Dry one left whirred

Flowing with the gusty wind
Remembering the days when he was young

How he protected those twigs

Making sure they’re safe he thinks

And now this time

When he is blind

No one is there who cares
Life cannot be this unfair

Through the day and night
Struggling with the wind and air so tight

All this comes to his mind
Time to stop the flight

Everyone is fake finding a lake
Jumped in to end his race
